Databilt all about Infrastructure…as in the Miriam Webster Dictionary definition of “Infrastructure”: the underlying foundation or basic framework.
Databilt has a wealth of experience. Our “underlying foundation” began about 95 years after Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone. In the 1970s we lovingly referred to our employer as “Ma Bell”.
The Internet began its evolutionary process in the 1950s. (Child labor laws prevented us from joining that initial group).
In 1992, the Information Infrastructure Technology Act opened the Internet to commercial traffic. (It should be noted, the co-sponsor of that bill was Al Gore and, nope, he didn’t invent the Internet.)
In 1993, the Internet carried about 1% of information flowing through two-way telecommunication.
Today about 1/3 of the world’s population uses the Internet regularly.
We stepped into that Information Technology (IT) flow in 1984.
Since that time we too have evolved…enhancing our skill sets following the industry evolutionary/revolutionary enhancements.
